Kasuti is a traditional form of embroidery practiced by the Lambani women in Karnataka, India. The beauty of this art lies in the fact that patterns are stitched without using knots to ensure that both sides of the cloth look alike.
Phulkari is a traditional handmade embroidery work of Punjab, India. Skilled artisans work by hand using multi-colored threads to create beautiful unique pieces of fabric which are then used as shawls, sarees, dupattas or beautiful fabrics that can be used to decorate homes.
Kalamkari is an ancient style of hand painting done on cotton or silk fabric with a tamarind pen, using natural dyes and has it origins in Andhra Pradesh, India. Traditional Indian motifs drawn in Kalamkari spans from flowers, peacocks and paisleys to some special characters in Indian Mythology.
